Hackettstown Police initially responded to 115 Main St. on a report of stabbing and found two people with minor injuries following a domestic dispute, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said.
During the dispute, Luis Marroquin brandished a knife and used it a threatening manner toward Santiago Saqui, Pfeiffer said. After the parties separated, Saqui returned and assaulted Marroquin with a broom handle, Pfeiffer said.
Marroquin was charged with possession of a knife for an unlawful purpose and harassment, Pfeffer said. Saqui was charged with possession of a broom handle for an unlawful purpose and aggravated assault, Pfeiffer said.
